Jim Ericson

VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

Jim Ericson is a seasoned executive with significant experience in all aspects of marketing, including brand development, product marketing, and direct and online marketing. He joined Agilix to provide an integrated product vision and to drive corporate marketing initiatives. Mr. Ericson previously worked at Agilix as VP of Interactive Marketing in 2004 to support the launch of its GoBinder product through online initiatives.

Mr. Ericson most recently served as marketing vice president at Move Networks, where he engaged with ABC, CBS/Paramount, ESPN, FOX, Warner Brothers, CW, Televisa, and other top brands to provide online video streaming services for their online properties. In less than one year, Move Networks became the dominant provider of video streaming services for premium content and pioneered the online delivery of true HD video streaming. Ericson led product management and corporate marketing efforts to catapult Move Networks to a leadership position in a dynamic and chaotic market.

Prior to working with Move Networks, Ericson served as a Marketing VP for Infobase Media (Online Services), One Great Family (Online Genealogy Subscription), and 10X Marketing (Web Marketing Agency). Additional experience includes product management and marketing positions at MyFamily.com, Inc. (now known as The Generations Network). Career accomplishments include increasing subscriptions to an online service by 350% within a single year, managing the transition of a free online community service with millions of members to a leading paid subscription service, and creating some of the most effective direct response online advertising campaigns ever executed (aggregate response rate of 15% for an online campaign with millions of impressions). Ericson graduated with an MBA (Marketing Emphasis) from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University and received a B.A. in Public Relations from Brigham Young University. Ericson lives in Cedar Hills, Utah with his wife and four children where he enjoys sports, gardening, and family time.
