GoCourse Gradebook
The GoCourse Gradebook improves the lives of instructors by saving time and delivering advanced insight. Like other GoCourse features, the gradebook is accessible both online and offline. The system is incredibly efficient when helping instructors grade items offline, since the instructor does not need to wait for any response from a server. Instead of using a Web-based interface that requires extensive clicking to navigate, the grading process in GoCourse is incredibly efficient.
The gradebook also provides excellent context. The names of each learner are always present, and each row, column, and entry can be clicked for additional details. Navigating the gradebook is simple, but the information available is incredibly complete and illustrated by graphs where possible.
The reporting available from the gradebook and in other custom reports includes the amount of time spent on each activity as well as actual performance. This allows instructors to gage the amount of effort learners are devoting to learning. The gradebook is configurable to show time or performance or to only show those activities in the course that are designated as warranting grading.
Roll-Up Reporting
The reporting functionality in GoCourse doesn’t end with the gradebook. Other reports are available for learners, courses, programs, and even learning objectives on a section, course, school, or even district level. For higher education, this means reporting can be rolled up by program or college to see how learners and instructors perform across multiple dimensions.
Reporting provides administrators as well as instructors with immediate feedback on how well learners are performing against internal or external standards and enables immediate intervention with learners and instructors that need assistance.
