Online Assessments 
Immediate and Secure Proficiency Feedback for Learners and Instructors
GoCourse Learning System supports the authoring and distribution of assessments more conveniently than other solutions. Like other activities, assessments can be authored offline, which is more efficient than online authoring solutions. Assessments can also be imported as text files saved in Respondus format. Conversion of assessments created in other formats is available through Agilix Professional Services.
Assessment questions supported include the following types: yes/no, true/false, multiple choice, multiple answer, matching, short answer, and essay. Each question can be easily tied to one or more learning objectives for the course, which enables advanced reporting and rapid intervention for learners struggling with specific concepts.
Questions can also be pooled, which allows the creation of custom assessments based on learning objectives, question type, the number of questions desired, etc. Each assessment can be further customized by randomizing the order of questions and the order of question responses.
GoCourse supports three main types of assessments:
- Low stakes (immediately graded and reported to the learner)
- Medium stakes (automatically graded but results reported to all learners at the same time)
- High stakes (proctored access to exam with extra security)
Essay questions are graded through a facilitated process that is similar to grading assignments. Once the essays are graded by the instructor, the entire test is ready to be returned to the learner when appropriate.
Once administered, the reporting system in GoCourse helps analyze questions that may be problematic based on the performance of learners on those questions.
