Mr. Curt Allen co-founded Agilix Labs in 2001. As President and CEO of Agilix, Mr. Allen oversees all sales, marketing, software development and services provided by the company as a worldwide leader in delivering mobile learning solutions to education markets. He is directly responsible for building strategic partnerships with Intel, Microsoft, and FranklinCovey. Mr. Allen lead the effort to raise more than $4.5MM in strategic capital from Intel Capital, vSpring and Ash Capital. Agilix is one of the leading Tablet PC application developer in the world and a poster child for Intel’s “mobilized software initiative.” In addition to providing the company’s vision, mission and ability to negotiate and manage world-class strategic technology partnerships, Mr. Allen’s forte is in building world-class teams and empowering them to accomplish great things. In addition to being included in vSpring’s v|100 list for the third year, Agilix had five executives featured in the v|100 list in 2005, more than any other company on the list.

Prior to co-founding Agilix, Mr. Allen served as Chairman and CEO of MyFamily.com. He lead fund raising efforts, built the team, and launched the MyFamily.com service, securing strategic partnership agreements with Microsoft, AOL, Disney, Yahoo! and others. Under Mr. Allen’s leadership, MyFamily.com more than quadrupled annual revenues to over $10 million in one year, became a “Top 10” most trafficked web property, and became the #3 most successful web-based content subscription business in the world. Prior to MyFamily.com, Mr. Allen co-founded Folio Corporation in 1986 and served in a number of roles there including: VP R&D, VP Marketing, VP Strategy, and Chairman/CEO. Mr. Allen orchestrated the sale of the company three different times to Lexis-Nexis, Reed-Elsevier, and to Open Market. Prior to his work at Folio, Mr. Allen was a co-founder of Vidcomp, Inc. a consulting firm and systems integrator, worked in the Roseville Networks Division of Hewlett-Packard, and studied Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University.
